REPORT ON PRICE HIKE

Staff correspondent, Moulvibazar, 30 June, 2013: Recently the price of all essentials especially rice, groceries, vegetables have gone up beyond the capacity of the common people. It has made the life intolerably difficult, especially for the poor people of the country. It is learnt from the customers & retailers that market syndicate is mainly responsible for this price hike. Some dishonest businessman store goods for huge profit. This decreases the supply of goods in the market & increases the price of essentials. The whole country is suffering from price hike now. Increase of price in the international market, global recession & money inflation is also responsible for price hike. Common people expect that government should take necessary steps to keep the price of daily commodities in control.

A NUCLEAR FAMILY

A family is a social and welfare institution.  It gives us shelter, support and safety. There are two kinds of family: extended family and nuclear family. A family consist with father, mother and their children’s is called a nuclear family. Like an extended family a nuclear family has some advantage and disadvantage too. The environment of a nuclear family is very calm, and quite. It is also free from noise and disturbance. One can enjoy much space and time here. One can lead a life of his/her own. In a nuclear family, students enjoy much better environment than an extended family. In a nuclear family house is always remains neat and clean and well-arranged. A nuclear family has some disadvantage too. It is sometime very lonely and boring. If any member of a nuclear family faces any problem, there is none to help. Everything in this world has some positive and negative qualities. Above all, comparing with an extended family I think a nuclear family is the better one to live.
