There
is an English proverb goes “Health is wealth”. Yes, health is wealth when it is
good health. The body which is free from all sorts of diseases is considered to
be healthy. Good health refers to the physical and mental soundness which makes
one healthy, fit and active and keeps one free from diseases. But it is not
easy to maintain good health. In order to keep good health, one should follow
certain rules of health. One should take regular physical exercise, proper rest
or sleep and above all, a balanced diet. A balanced diet always does not mean a
costly food. One should take food considering its food value. A balanced diet
contains all ingredients of food-carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamin, mineral
salt and water. As most of the people of our country are poor so they cannot
manage all the foods necessary for maintaining good health. Even many rich and
educated people of our country do not know the rules of good health. As a
result, they suffer from various kind of health related problem. So, we all should
follow the rules of keeping good health to live a happy life.
